Precisely redesigned living spaces
The intervention focused on the main rooms of the apartment, with particular attention paid to fluidity and light. A false perimeter ceiling has been integrated into the living room in order to accommodate indirect lighting, designed to illuminate the space without weighing it down. This discreet intervention structures volumes and accompanies daily uses. The existing parquet floors have been completely redone in light oak, reinforcing the visual continuity between the various rooms and providing a warm base to the entire project.
A kitchen designed as a central element
The kitchen plays a key role in the apartment. Made with wood veneer facades and a ceramic worktop, it fits naturally into the living space. The composition is completed by windows with metal slats, designed to display dishes and create a balanced visual rhythm. The choice of materials and proportions allows the kitchen to interact with the rest of the layout, without interruption or demonstration.
Custom furniture, the main thread of the project
Custom furniture is a key element of this renovation. In living spaces, bookcases made in the workshop structure the walls and offer storage solutions adapted to the habits of the occupants. From the entrance, a custom cloakroom-dressing room was integrated into the hall. Designed in lacquered MDF and manufactured in the workshop, it ensures a functional transition between the outside and private spaces, while being in a sober style that is consistent with the rest of the apartment.
Bathrooms redesigned for everyday life
The bathrooms, which are small in size, have been completely renovated. The old bathtubs have given way to Italian showers, better adapted to current uses. Porcelain stoneware tiles and custom furniture, made of laminate with wood decor, create spaces that are both practical and well-kept. Integrated lighting completes the layout, accompanying daily actions without overloading the reading of the volumes.
A renovation guided by use
This project illustrates a careful approach, where each intervention meets a real and identified need. Without looking for the effect, the renovation of this apartment in Etterbeek is based on the coherence of the materials, the precision of the details and the quality of tailor-made solutions. A measured transformation, designed to last and calmly support a new rhythm of life.
