A vision of a family home
The owners had opted for a new house with classic charm: window braces, wooden railings, timeless details. Inside, they were looking for a much more modern, white, and structured approach. Each space was the subject of several preliminary projects, until reaching a harmonized version that met their vision of a comfortable and contemporary family home.
Interior design and structural adjustments
Home Design intervened at a key moment, when the closed structural work was completed but still modifiable. Some elements could be adjusted to improve the balance of volumes, such as the addition or correction of wall heads. This step made it possible to guarantee the coherence and fluidity of circulation throughout the house, before developing the interior project in detail.
Living room and fireplace
The stay is organized around a custom-designed fireplace set. The complete plasterboard cladding hosts a double-sided open fire, as well as a steel insert for storing logs. The natural stone chosen for this element gives an elegant presence to the room, in dialogue with the parquet flooring implemented throughout the ground floor. The overall atmosphere is contemporary, while maintaining a warmth that echoes the exterior character of the villa.
Custom kitchen
The kitchen, made entirely to measure in the workshop, is made of light gray stained oak. This soft shade is combined with a granite worktop, offering a set that is both functional and refined. The space benefits from a careful integration of lighting and a fluid organization, in continuity with the rest of the interior layout.
Staircase and circulations
The stairwell adopts a resolutely modern style: a solid-walled balustrade accompanies the ascent, from the ground floor to the first floor, emphasizing the verticality of the space. The integrated lighting creates a smooth transition between the levels.
Custom rooms and furniture
All rooms have been custom furnished. In the master suite, oak elements â bed frame, headboard, built-in storage and lighting â extend the warm aesthetic of the ground floor. The sub-slopes were used to house optimized storage and a coordinated dressing room. The children's rooms are made of white lacquer, with a screen designed to hide a radiator and structure the space. Each piece has been studied with precision to meet daily needs.
Conclusion
This project illustrates Home Design's ability to take over a new construction at the end of the structural work and to orchestrate all of its interior architecture. The harmony between the classic envelope and a contemporary interior testifies to a global, controlled and tailor-made approach. A villa designed in its entirety, offering a coherent, sustainable setting and perfectly adapted to its occupants.
