The lobby as a transition space
From the entrance, two custom sliding doors were integrated into the thickness of the walls. Their design allows the volumes to be opened or closed without visual interruption. These discreet elements structure the circulation between the hall and the dining room, while maintaining the legibility of the space. The choice of retractable doors contributes to architectural continuity where functions disappear in favor of volumes.
The SieMatic kitchen as a focal point
The kitchen occupies a central position in the interior composition. It is organized around a generous island including a water point. The facades are made of matt laminate, in a resolutely contemporary style. The equipment includes high-capacity appliances, including large-format built-in refrigerators. The whole favors a clear reading of lines and direct functionality, without decorative overload.
The living room and the living volumes
The living areas are part of a material continuity with the rest of the house. Grey oak flooring has been laid on all levels, from the ground floor to the first floor, ensuring visual unity. In the living room, a custom-made TV stand in brushed lacquered oak was designed to meet specific uses, without requiring superfluous furniture.
The staircase as a structuring element
The house having been delivered in its raw state, the concrete staircase was completely dressed. The steps were clad in black granite, transforming this circulation element into a strong architectural anchor, visually connecting the levels without breaking the balance of materials.
The rooms and the built-in furniture
Upstairs, the bedrooms incorporate several elements of custom furniture. In the master bedroom, a central unit accommodates the television, positioned so as to remain legible from the bed. The back of this volume is used as storage space, optimizing the use of the surface without partitioning.
The custom bathroom
The bathroom was made of porcelain stoneware and designed entirely to measure. It includes an Italian shower and furniture adapted to the dimensions of the room. The whole meets a logic of use and sustainability, in coherence with the other spaces in the house.
Controlled inner coherence
This new construction project illustrates the Home Design approach: intervening from an existing architecture to reveal its interior potential, with tailor-made solutions, designed to last and adapt to real uses. Each space finds its place in a global, legible and balanced composition.
